For 100 years, LYDIA Home Association has been strengthening families to care for children and caring for children when families cannot. What began as a small group of individuals humbly trying to meet the most basic clothing needs of children living in an orphanage, has grown into a worldwide organization where children can find comfort and rest while seeking healing and freedom from the traumas of their past.
LYDIA is based in the Northwest side of Chicago and serves those at-risk by providing a continuum of services with the aim of improving children’s lives and restoring families.
We are only able to support the children and families we serve because generous donors like you are able to support us. You can help support LYDIA’s work by: making a financial contribution, remembering us in prayer, or spending time volunteering with one of our programs.
On behalf of the children LYDIA Home serves, we seek to raise $2,600,000 over an 18-month campaign. Your gifts will allow LYDIA to meet the ever-growing needs of children through enhanced and expand facilities, programs, and services. We seek to do this by resourcing three main initiatives while still supporting the needs of all those in our care.
