Foster Care
Every child deserves a safe, loving home. We license, train, and walk alongside foster families so children have the support they need.
OUR APPROACH
A child in need. A family ready to help.
When a child enters the child welfare system, they need more than a roof over their head. They need consistency, care, and someone in their corner.
Lydia Home's Foster Care Program works closely with DCFS, the child's natural family, and foster families to ensure every child receives the care they need, with the goal of reunification always in mind.
We don't just license foster parents and leave. We train, support, and walk alongside families at every step of the journey.
"Do not be deterred by the fear of loving a child who might leave. Instead, be driven by the fear of a child never knowing love."
