LYDIA is not-for-profit and therefore donations are tax deductible.

Reading program: A grant from the Ralph and Mildred Johnson fund of the Community Needs Funds of Northern Illinois has provided a grant to purchase the “Accelerated Reader Program.” To help with the motivation for the reading program incentives would be helpful:

School supplies:

Printer paper, pencils, pens, calculators, spiral notebooks, poster board, pocket folders, etc.


Books are needed for the Accelerated Reading Program:
What was your favorite book in school?  It may become a favorite of a LYDIA student, too.

We need help expanding our reading library. 

Books need to be a 3rd to 12th grade reading level interesting to
high-schoolers.  Some titles are:
