For close to 100 years, LYDIA Home Association has been making a difference in the lives of Chicago children and families who are dealing with everything from homelessness and poverty to abuse and neglect. LYDIA has a residential treatment center that’s home to 40 kids, plus non-traditional high schools, foster care program and much more. Our Quad Cities programs have expanded with the purchase of a building in Davenport, Iowa. From the Brick House Building we will be able to offer after school tutoring and a summer program. In addition to homework help, children will have the opportunity to learn and enhance computer skills, participate in recreation activities, and attend special sessions that teach life skills including bible studies.
